What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

I use theme: X Theme Pro by Themco.

I only have Contact Form 7 plugin on the site (just starting to build it).

Try switching to the default theme.

Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

I changed theme to Twenty Twenty and bar disappeared — but it is now showing an EDIT link where the bar used to be. Argh.

I was able to resolve the issue by posting the following CSS code:

.wpcf7-response-output {
display: none;
}

I am using Pro by Themeco. Looks like it may be an issue with them.

This seems to be an X theme related issue ’cause I am also using it and did indeed had the same error. THANKS for sharing the Css

It was fixed with the new release of X-theme (I had the same issue).
