I’m hoping to buy your plugin bundle, but I want 100% assurance before I do…
    https://wordimpress.com/plugins/business-reviews-bundle/

So long story short, I bought a Yelp reviews plugin and a Facebook reviews plugin, neither work how I want and it’s been a bitch getting refunds.

I need a Plugin that lists the Facebook page, shows the overall ‘star’ rating and a few reviews. I need to do this for many, many, many different Facebook pages.
I need to do the same for Yelp, and Google.

I have learned that Yelp now BLOCKS all WordPress domains, as stated on their GitHub
    https://github.com/Yelp/yelp-fusion/issues/218
Kevin W Hoffman seems to claim to work for you folks, and he started the topic.

I need to know that if I purchase your plugin, it will allow me to post Yelp reviews for many, many, different Yelp businesses.

I am building a site, currently hosted on a subdomain, to list all of the pole dance studios across the United States. I will be posting their mission statement, map location, YT video, and reviews from multiple sources.
    Here’s the URL : https://www.pole.sweetsolutionsllc.com/

Please let me know if your plugin is safe to purchase and if you will refund me if for any reason it does not work.

    Thank you.

    HI @n0ttsweet,

Thanks for your interest and your important questions. Let me address each issue you raised independently.

    1) Here’s our refund policy: https://wordimpress.com/refund-policy — we don’t hesitate to give refunds when necessary

    2) Yes, @kevinwhoffman works for us ?? He’s investigating a new business reviews platform that we are working on. Kevin’s issue doesn’t apply to our current plugin. If you’re interested in learning more about the new platform, join our beta list here: https://wordimpress.com/wp-business-reviews-beta-sign/

    3) Yes, you can post many, many businesses with Yelp. See our demo here:
https://yelpwidgetpro.wordimpress.com/widgets/ — the only thing required to show reviews is the url SLUG of the business.

    4) Google also allows you to display reviews from ANY business

    5) Our Facebook Reviews plugin allows you to display reviews of any FB Page that you are an Admin of. So it’s more restrictive than Yelp and Google — but you can show ALL your reviews with FB whereas you are limited to 3 for Yelp and 5 for Google.

Let me know if you have additional questions at all.

2.) Just to recap, I was sent this in an email by Yelp support :
“At this point in time, WordPress blogs are blocked from making requests to Yelp properties. Seeing that I don’t have a timetable to share for this to change, I’d recommend pursuing a refund as a next step. Sorry for any confusion you’ve faced re the unofficial WordPress plugin you transacted with.”

    Is this true?

5.) What would the admin of a Facebook page need to give me access to, in order to let me post their page info?

    Thanks!!!

    2) We are just a wrapper for Yelp’s public API. WordPress.com is what they are referring to generally speaking. They have a public API and we integrate with that no differently than any other developer code.

    5) Facebook says these Page Roles will work: “Admin, Editor, Moderator, Advertiser, Anlyst”. Basically any role except “Live Contributor”. The Role has to have the “View Insights” capability. You can see that spelled out here:

    Thanks!

Thanks for all your help. Lastly, it’s starting to appear as if Yelp had blocked my webhost’s IP address, do you know who or where I could contact to find out why?

I’d like to try out your plugin, but I don’t want to waste everybody’s time if it still won’t work because I’m blocked.

    Thanks!

That’s VERY odd… but they are also a bit of an odd company.

Our plugin is VERY easy to configure. Just use the SLUG of your business URL from Yelp.com and put in the Business ID field and you’re done. It would take just a couple minutes and then you’d know for sure.

    Thanks!

That’s how the one I’m using now works as well… I’m happy to purchase it to test, just be forewarned, I may ask for a refund if it doesn’t work until I figure it out…

You can try our free one first! But no problem on the refund either. Thanks!

I bought it! I’m happy so far, having a tiny issue with google places. Submitted question on the forums here.

No need to reply. Thanks for all the support so far. I’m very pleased with your customer support!!!!!!!!!!!
