• Activating the plugin ties you into giving your email address and bang before you know it you have a new Eager apps menu item in the back end.
Curious double uninstall process and eventually deleted it.

Actually pace.js is easy to implement with either wp_enqueue_scripts() function or a link in the header.php of your theme. I’m surprised this plugin complies with the plugin repository t&c.

Sorry if this seems like a bad review but users need to know what they’re getting into – something like “offers in-app purchases” might help.

    That doesn’t sound very nice.

*Installs plugin on test site and activates*

    Wait. What?

    Screen Shot

But the FAQ says the following.

Do I have to have an Eager account to use PACE?

No! Just install this plugin. All configuration can be done inside this WordPress plugin, there is no need to visit Eager.

I’ll look closer tonight at the plugin. Unless it’s software as service then there is no reason to provide that information. It may be a service but the FAQ really contradicts that.

*Clicks “(Deactivate PACE plugin to decline)” and sees plugin is still activated*

    That’s hanky.
