• Im not much good in php, but I like clear code (because im not able create clear code by myself :D) and this plugin use clear code as it can be done.
What Im pricing is compatibility and maybe transparency with gallery code of WP itself.
Even at least the same is great the level of support.

Generally, if WP is opensource and it is still in development, here, in this plugin is captured a future code for basic, new generation of gallery management in WP. Thats my opinion.
I dont know if plugin have more chances to be gainful than contributing on wp directly but, if developer David Lingren would be honnered its first plugin I used, which so naturally fits into WordPress. ??

Thanks for your review, the positive rating and for all the time you have put in to sharing your experience with the plugin.

One of the ideas that got me started on this work was the thought that attachments were an early example of a custom post type and that they never got many of the features (such as quick edit and bulk edit) that other custom post types have.

I agree that some of these features would be great additions to WordPress core. If my plugin work ever slows down, perhaps I will make a contribution to that effort.

You are fully right, your progress and development on that thing is incredible, so put it in core could be bad for keeping that “piece of golden code” really flexible and actual. I meant “be in core” its honor, but its maybe like put Panda from free forest in zoo ??
