Yet another Blogger import thread

    Ok, I’ve seen a LOT of threads regarding the same thing, but not one with a real answer. So here’s the deal:

    – I try running the Import Blogger script (‘Import’ -> ‘Blogger and Blogspot’ in the admin menu. I enter my username and password for my Blogger account (Blogger Beta, btw)
    – I get this error message: “Login failed. Please re-enter your username and password.”. No matter what I do.
    – I tried running a CURL test script, courtesy of Addict, which returns CURLERR0.
    – I even tried importing my blog as an RSS feed, via the same importer, without luck.

    What am I doing wrong? Is it because my Blogger is in fact a Blogger Beta? Is there something wrong with my config file? Or something else?

    I’m running XAMPP 1.5.4 on Windows XP (PHP 5.1.6, MySQL 5.0.24a, CURL enabled) on a localhost, with wordpress installed in a subdir (localhost/wordpress), if that’s of any interest.

    Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

    Never mind, I found a way around it here.

    A bit unnecessarily hard, but I couldn’t make it work any other way.
