Yet another ‘Continue Reading’ button problem

  • I have read virtually every post about the “Continue Reading” button not appearing. None of them helped me resolve this problem. The initial post in my new blog (Yosemite Light template) has it in the post footer. None of the others do. All they have is the date of the post in the lower left, which if clicked, opens the full text of the post. I tried setting the posts to showing full text and also to show excerpt. I tried other things suggested in related forum posts, but most of them are outdated. Should be simple, but it is not.

    Ah! Thank you. I am a Dreamweaver person (templates) who is new to WordPress to use in one of my subdomains. Sorry for my post dripping with frustration. Thanks much for your suggestion. I didn’t figure out how to use the forum sections here until your recommendation. Thanks, t-p
