I just returned from a trip to find that we had a number of updates for plugins. I ran the updater for all the plugs and then noticed there was a new version of WP to update as well. I clicked on the “Comments” link in the navigator to go back an update WP… but then the site was broken. I can’t login or anything and I got this error: Fatal error: Class ‘BackWPup_Api’ not found

    https://www.withoutreservation.org

I’m not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    – running the upgrade via wp-admin/upgrade.php
