wp-cache is DEACTIVATED – yet it’s creating cache files – yikes – delteing completely causes the error in post 1

How do I get out of this one?

If I make a post, I get this error on the other side.

browser locked – can’t log back in

stop that. the bumping doesnt help.

read the errors that you are getting.

you need to go in with an ftp client and REMOVE the lock file thats mentioned in the error, to start with. It cannot be written to.

additionally, read the comments on the plugin site about issues with deactivating it:

whooami – thank you – sorry if the multiple posts offended – I was trying to give complete info. ??

I changed the wp-config file now as directed and deleted wp-cache and I’m now back in business!!! *big big hug*

What I’m baffled and was freaked out by is why this acted up without me doing anything. Could my web host have done something?

    Thanks again.

you edited a post, or it was deleted.. back to back posts of “my browser is locked – cant get in” isnt useful. no matter, as its solved.

as for the rest, I have no idea, ask them.

    glad its sorted, happy blogging.
