Hello. I notice that after uninstalling YITH Wishlish that there was still shortcode beneath the YITH Quick View modal modal window: [yith_wcwl_add_to_wishlist]

I asked YITH Wishlist Support how I can remove it. Although I can hide it with CSS using .qode-single-product-share-wish { display: none; }, I’d rather remove it permanently.

They said it’s not their plugin that is adding the shortcode and suggested I contact YITH QuickView support: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/shortcode-showing-after-uninstalling-wishlist-plugin/

Do you have any idea why this shortcode is showing? Thanks!

    Hi there,
did you check if the problem persists using a default WordPress theme? It’s possible that your theme overwrites default template of the plugin and add that shortcode without check if the plugin is active.
Please check and let me know. Thank you.

I just checked and you are right, the shortcode is not displayed in the WordPress 2021 theme. I’ll ask the theme developer if their template has the shortcode, though I did search files. Thanks!
