YITH WooCommerce Wishlist does not work with W3TC cache plugin

Hello,
I have recently installed the W3tc cache plugin
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/w3-total-cache/I have noticed that the wishlist count does not update correctly.
If I add a product to my wishlist, I can see the count go up, but when I navigate away from the page by clicking on a product and returning to the homepage, it resets back to 0.
I have contacted the developer of the cache plugin and this is what he said:
