My error on Yoast 20 is inside the ‘Format Archives’ inside the advanced section, and reads:

    t.split is not a function
Unfortunately, this means that all your unsaved changes will be lost. You can try and refresh this page to resolve the problem. If this error still occurs, please get in touch with our support team, and we’ll get you all the help you need!

    Hello @deeveearr

I’m sorry about that error. If you refresh the page, does the error message persist? Can you also confirm that you’re running the latest version of WordPress and all other plugins?

    Hi @maybellyne

I’ve tried refreshing both by the refresh button (which doesn’t seem to work) and manually, and can confirm that the latest versions are being used.

    Hey @deeveearr,

    Thank you for your reply.

Do you happen to know if you do anything specific to your post formats in your theme? Do you use a specific theme available on www.ads-software.com we can test or is it a custom-built one?

Just to test, can you try to switch to a default Twenty theme and see if you can load the Post Formats setting page? You can use the Health Check plugin troubleshooting mode to switch themes without affecting visitors on your site.

    Hi @jeroenrotty

I did as you suggested and allowed Yoast to be active whilst troubleshooting.

The Heath Check plugin automatically applied the Twenty Twenty Two theme.

Checked through the advanced settings, all the way down, and on testing the Format Archives setting, the ‘tsplit’ error was still there.

    Hey @deeveearr,

Thank you once again for your reply and explanation, I was able to reproduce and created a bug report for this. Our development team is investigating.

Good @jeroenrotty – proves I’m not going mad then ??

    Hey @deeveearr,

Our dev team had a look and have a PR/fix ready that will be included in a future version, if you’d like to test a ZIP file of Yoast SEO including the fix, please download it here.

    Thanks @jeroenrotty

The problems on ‘Format Archives’ and also the Chinese characters within the ‘Site Connections’ tab have all disappeared now.

    Thanks for the assistance!
