Yoast adding extra sitemap for WP E-Commerce products

I posted this issue in Github (original message and link below), but have not gotten a definitive answer. I’m hoping I can have more luck here. It appears there may be some conflict going on between WP SEO, and the WP E-commerce plugin in regards to sitemap generation.
We have been getting an issue with the Yoast sitemap feature where when Yoast generates the sitemaps for our WP E-commerce products, it creates an extra sitemap.
Example:

https://raymondleejewelers.net/diamondsbyraymondlee/wpsc-product-sitemap2.xml 2016-01-29 10:02We have just over 500 products in our WP E-commerce, and I have the sitemaps to include 1000 products per sitemap. As you can see there are 2 wpsc-product sitemaps. The wpsc-product-sitemap2.xml returns a not found error.
No matter what amount of links I include in each sitemap, there is always one extra sitemap link that is not supposed to be there.
