I downloaded Yoast yesterday, and now everytime I edit a post to add the SEO information, it is adding -2 or -3 or -10 to the ends of my slugs. I have no idea why this is happening, but I don’t want a bunch of redirects on my site. I had my host look at it last night and correct the messed up slugs, but now I am back in adding SEO info to posts today and it is adding the numbers every time I open a post. HELP!

For example…these did NOT have numbers at the end of the slugs and now they did. They were corrected yesterday, and now that I open them again today, it is adding the numbers again.

Anyone know? I am about to throw my computer out the window…

I have contacted Yoast and haven’t heard back from them and I have contacted my host again today, who are not sure what’s going on…

    Perhaps try this

    a) resave permalinks
    b) clear all transients with WP-Optimize or similar.

I do that EVERY time I update to ensure house clean.

It ended up being the MailMunch plugin that I don’t even use…go figure. UGH! At least it’s fixed now. Thanks for troubleshooting!
