  • using SEO image function for facebook doesnt work any suggestions or is an update coming to make it work?

    Same kind of issue. With Worpdress SEO (2.1.1) and the old version of VC (4.4.4) and the new one (4.5). When both plugins are activated, on my homepage backend, saving the page makes me revert to the default layout and the classic editor view. The content of my slides are deleted.

    When I deactivate SEO WordPress, everything is fine.

    Any help to fix this stupid issue?

    if it can help: testing again and again, I found that letting the SEO WordPress “Main Keyword” empty on the backend of my homepage makes everything fine. No bug, no issue. The Meta Description is filled in, and the SEO Title too. And the VC view doesn’t revert to the default setting, and my slides are still enabled.

    Waiting for a better fix from SEO WordPress and/or VC teams.

    yep, it can help. Letting the main keyword empty did the trick, everything works like a charm. Also waiting for a better fix, but in the meantime thanks to sjulienne.

    I meet the same problem with another theme.

    It changes SLUG, Some THEME OPTIONS and it is really anoying bug.

    I will test without keyword field and let you know if it temporary fix the problem.

    Ok so for now it looks to work, by using this method:

    ==>Focus Keyword: ==> let it empty
    ==>All social fields ==> let it empty

    And now i dont meet the problem i had just 10 minutes ago and for many weeks already !

    Hope it can soon be automatically fixed in update of SEO YOAST.

    Did experience the similar weird issues when i am using Yoast SEO along with Visual composer page builder with my WPDIVBlog as well. But the issue got resolved once i downgraded Visual composer version 4.4.2 and its compatible with Yoast 2.1.1 as well.

    I’m having the same issue with VC crashing on the backend with VC version 4.5.1 and Yoast version 2.1.1. Any word on a fix? This is terrible for my site!!! We just got Yoast fully implemented!

    For now I just disabled the focus keywords on pete settings and all social entries.

    Simply uncheck the stop word removal checkbox from SEO yoast plugin settings panel under advanced > permalinks

    Does anyone still have issues with the Yoast SEO page analysis? The latest VC version should be fully compatible with Yoast SEO, however I still have issues with the page analysis and word count. SEO is detecting all the words in the pages and reporting 0 keywords in the content :S Do you guys have the same issue?

    I am using Impreza theme, like vegastriguy

    My VC still doesn’t load on the back end or front end. All solutions didn’t work and upgraded to latest version and still not compatible….

    I’m having similar problems. The Yoast SEO plugin changes my Layout Settings, my URL, and deleted background images.
