  • Hey @dbase66,

With multiple support people here at Yoast, we’re still unable to replicate what you experience. With the default twentytwenty theme and the default widgets, Yoast SEO is not outputting anything within those widgets.

Looking back at your screenshot, it looks like the breadcrumbs are shown right before the “about me” page (über mich). Have you done any customization with/on that page where it might be interfering?

    I don’t understand your problem.
You yourself were able to recreate my problem with your screenshot:

The “home” link is your breadcrumb, below the categories-widget!

    Hi @dbase66

We used a default WP theme (Twenty Twenty) and enabled and implemented the code for the breadcrumbs as per our help article.

We then went to the WP admin dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > and in Footer #1 , we added a ‘categories list’ block – https://snipboard.io/NmRKue.jpg

However, once it was added, there were no breadcrumbs at the bottom of the ‘categories list’ block – https://snipboard.io/i0Ae2Y.jpg

So we were unable to reproduce it currently.

Could you please check and confirm if it’s this ‘categories list’ block that you’re adding to one of the widgets?

    OK

But what did you do on 5th January???

Thank you for the information. We tried to reproduce the issue based on what we understood by trying these steps below:

    Activated TwentyTwenty theme

From Appearance > Widgets > Inserted Yoast SEO Breadcrumb from block:?https://tinyurl.com/2qslwwxb

It appeared like this on the Widgets section:?https://tinyurl.com/2mkd5jcr

It appeared like this on the frontend individual Posts/Pages when viewed?https://tinyurl.com/2hjtwjt5

Can you please confirm if those were the right steps?

The second and the third tinyurl shows a breadcrumb

OK, you can close the ticket. its not important
