    Hi,

I am hoping someone will be able to help me,
I’ve set up Facebook social media.
When I use the share to facebook, the shared image is compressed and becomes incomplete, Only a part of the product picture can be seen, how do I set it to share the complete image?
    Any help would be appreciated!

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with Facebook sharing. I imagine this can be frustrating for you.

In order to narrow, could you please show us some example URLs where the issue occurs so that we can take a look at them?

Additionally, if possible, please provide us with screenshots that highlight the issue you are experiencing. You can use any image sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it an image sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

How do I set it up to display the full image?

    Thank you!

    Hello google7,

everything is ok, it is nothing wrong with the Images of your shares. How you come up that idea that the picture have to be shown full size? But maybe this help you: Facebook love Post images with the size of 1200 px x 630 px.

I have the problem that Facebook don’t display no og:description of my post shares anymore. Would you like to help me fixing the bug please?

    Best regards

Thanks for sharing the details. It’s particularly tricky to pick the best size with WordPress, where we’re not always sure what image sizes we’ll be working with. You should ensure that your primary og:image is between 1200x800px and 2000x1600px, and is less than 2mb in size.

Because Amazon’s image is square, and after sharing to FB, it is displayed in full size (you can see the whole product), so I think we can do that too!

About the problem you are experiencing, it may be caused by the template you are using, I don’t really understand it, please contact the theme’s after sales service or create a new thread to solve your problem.

    Thank you!

Since Amazon images are square and are displayed full size (you can see the product as a whole) when shared to FB, I think we can do the same ??

Is it possible to upgrade the plugin, or change the CSS code and PHP code to achieve this?

    Thank you!

    Hi @google7

Upon checking your product https://flatsome3.uxthemes.com/shop/clothing/hoodies/patient-ninja/ in Facebook’s Sharing Debugger Tool here, it does show a cropped image for the social preview.

This is because your set image is of the 1:1 resolution. For best results, we recommend using an open graph image that is of 3:2 or 5:4 resolution so it doesn’t appear cropped when sharing on Facebook. You can learn more about it here – https://yoast.com/help/why-doesnt-facebook-display-an-image/
