    Hi,

I dowloaded Yoast SEO today. Since it is activated, I can no longer edit certain pages with Elementor Pro. Not only that, but the concerned pages no longer display as they should (i.e., every Elementor modifications are removed).

    Please, see the following links

    Before activating Yoast: https://ibb.co/L0SSDkr
    After activating Yoast: https://ibb.co/TBCNdQx

I also have the following error message in elementor when attempting to edit the page: https://ibb.co/M6Xf0p5

I should note that this issue only affects the pages that have links toward blog posts.

I have read other similar issues on the forum, but found no solution.

    Thank you for your support.

    Alexandre.

    Hi @alexandre333

We understand you have an issue with the Yoast SEO plugin and Elementor.

Could you check if you have the latest version of Yoast SEO 17.8 as well as Elementor?

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

Could you check if this issue still occurs with just a default WP theme, and only Yoast SEO and Elementor activated?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.

I have the most recent version for both pluggins.

I contacted Elementor Support and they confirmed there is known issues with Yoast SEO interfering with Elementor.

I do not wish to make my work more complicated than it needs to be, so I dowloaded the “All in one SEO” pluggin and I find it to be a great alternative.

    Best Wishes,

    Alexandre.
