    Hi everyone,
I’m fairly new to SEO and I’m trying to figure out if Yoast takes my Elementor Pop-up’s content into consideration… Or if Google does for that matter.

The fact is, I have a portfolio website and I decided to have pop-ups for all my projects. They contain a lot of keywords and content that could be useful for SEO purposes, but when I check out the sitemap Yoast created, they aren’t there, only the main pages are.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot!

@alecs722 If your page has content that is created outside of the default WordPress editor, Yoast SEO may not be able to scan that. The Yoast plugin is not compatible with every page builder plugin or theme like Elementor. We suggest contacting Elementor to see if they have included the right code in all the modules for Yoast to scan. This guide explains more and includes links to the code they need to have: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/.

However, our developers are working on improving Yoast’s compatibility with Elementor and a few other page builders. We are hopeful to have those improvements before the end of the year.

As for Google, can you please provide a link to an example page to see whether there is anything that might prevent Google from crawling the content?

@devnihil Thanks a lot for the quick support! Awesome plugin and awesome team apparently.

https://www.alexander-s.site/sitemap_index.xml is throwing an error, idk why. When I first checked it out, it worked, then a few moments later, it started giving that error.

    Thanks a lot!

    Have a great one!

    Hi @alecs722,

We checked the sitemap and it appears blank. A blank sitemap is typically an issue with the stylesheet, a static file or a conflict in your setup. We reviewed the source code for the sitemap to confirm that the sitemap content appears correctly. This means the stylesheet that converts the source code to a human-readable format is not applied. The good news is that search engines only look at the code so this is not impacting your ability to be indexed by a search engine.

After checking the browser’s error log, we see that the stylesheet is being called from non-www URL which your server blocks (error listed below). Please contact your webhost or web administrator for assistance resolving the security block.

    Error:

Unsafe attempt to load URL https://alexander-s.site/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/css/main-sitemap.xsl from frame with URL https://www.alexander-s.site/sitemap_index.xml. Domains, protocols and ports must match.
