    Situation:
Migrate old wp blog with webshop to new wp project.
So wanna export and import yoast data from old site into new site.
This is something very general and basic.

    But not with yoast:
Our blog categories have yoast focus keyword and meta description.
How to export this meta data?

Yes, yoast have an export option:
    domain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_tools&tool=import-export#top#keywords-export

But if you open the export file: The columens/data of blog categories for focus keyword and meta description are empty.

So our question are very simple:
    1. How to export yoast data for woocommerce product categories?
    2. How to export yoast data for blog categories?
    3. How to export yoast data for woocommerce products?
    4. How to export yoast data for blog posts?

Or using yoast will break every SEO and you online project if you plan to migrate because there is still no solution?!
We realy cant belive this strange situation of an so much sold plugin. ??

    We already know that page:
    https://yoast.com/yoast-seo-import-export/ and the general FAQ.

And we see on github the issue from 2017 and its still unsolved. ??

I hope you can help us. Every time if we migrate an project we had a lot of issues in this yoast part and all our clients are very frustrating to explain every time: you need an expensive custom coding to migrate your yoast data to your new blog….

    BR

Thanks for reaching out here. We are afraid to say that Yoast SEO free has no support for exporting SEO data but Yoast SEO Premium has, and there’s no import SEO data optimization in the Yoa?t SEO free/premium. However, a feature request is currently open to our development team as you have already mentioned adding support for such a feature. So, this might be something that will available in a future update.

In the meantime, you may want to use the native Export option from the Tools to see whether this works for you. If it doesn’t, you mean need to look for a 3rd party import/export plugin like WP All Import that offers such a feature.

    Thanks for your understanding!

We had 12 projects in history and every one with Yoast was broken because we used yoast in the project. Because there is no full Export and no import section to migrate all seo Data of yoast.

We also talked with wp all import. Yeah, they have import option and addon für yoast.
But from where we have to export yoast Data? wp all Export can Not export yoast Data.

So without yoast export also wp all import cant help.

    Or please explain:
If we buy wp all import and the yoast addon for wp all import:
From where we will get the Data to import?

We already checked the yoast export, focus words and many more fields are missing for taxonomies in CSV file.

You told us: it will be lunched… Developer will develope it… Sorry, the situation is very dramatic and the situation is known since 5 years. On github you can see a Lot of Developer and customer that wish this Option because all there customer projects will be broken because they cant export/import full Data of yoast to new blog/webseite/store. This is an hugh impact und very frustrating. ?? And the truth is: since we know that situation most of all our Clients used another seo Software and we also do that. ?? Because its to riskfull…

    Hello,

We know that some users have used the WP All Import plugin successfully. They have a tutorial on their site on importing data into the Yoast SEO plugin.

Unfortunately, we are not really familiar with this solution so we cannot provide additional assistance on this. We would recommend contacting their support team for information on the tutorial/process.
