A few days ago I updated my Yoast SEO from 12.1 to the latest version. I noticed that when I go to the main list of all my posts (Dashboard -> Posts -> All Posts) in my WordPress dashboard, there are now too many new additional “items” that Yoast inserts, which make the list almost impossible to read because all the text is now squeezed. E.g. the title of the post is written in an elongated vertical column of text that contains one word per column.

Yoast inserts items such as: SEO Title, Meta desc, Readability score etc. into this list.

I think some of these items existed in version 12.1 (readability score maybe), but not all of them. I tried to delete the latest version of Yoast and then to reupload Yoast 12.1, but unfortunately this didn’t help and the issue persisted – as if it is now in the database somewhere?

In any case, is there a way to turn off all of these extra items that Yoast puts into the main listing of posts? Is there a way to switch on and off individual items? I’d like to go back to how it was in version 12.1 because it didn’t interfere with the readability of this post list. As it is now, it’s really bad and unusable…

We’re sorry our plugin update caused an issue on your site. This happens when there are more columns being displayed than what fits on the screen. Please click ‘Screen Options’ in the upper right corner and uncheck columns that you do not use on a regular basis.
