Yoast isn’t showing meta description and title

    We see in the given preview there’s a description below the product title in Yoast SEO metabox but not in the page source. Can you please confirm whether the custom meta description for this product is set for this product from Yoast SEO or not? If you set, do you see the meta description tag in the page source?

    Hi,

    yes i set a custom meta description in the metabox, but it is not showing in page source.
    Also the meta title in the metabox is not showing (instead “Produkte Archiv” is showing in the source code.

    Hi,

    thanks for your recommondations. I ruled out the plugin conflict & figured out that when activationg Yoast SEO Multilingual from WPML the metadata is mixed up. When deactivating this plugin everything works as expecting.

    Can you help with this or should I open a ticket with WPML?

    If you are running the latest Yoast SEO Multilingual plugin (v1.2.0) from the WPML team, we would encourage you to reach out to their support. If the plugin is outdated, please update the plugin and check if the issue persists.
