[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Yoast Meta not working after update to WP 3.8.3
-
Hi,
I recently updated a site to WP 3.8.3 and have just noticed in the source that it’s saying;
<!– Admin only notice: this page doesn’t show a meta description because it doesn’t have one, either write it for this page specifically or go into the SEO -> Titles menu and set up a template. –>
I didn’t change any settings, and it was all working before the update. Each page has it’s own title, description, and keywords fields filled out, and they’re showing up when you view the pages in the WP dashboard, so they’re all still there in the database.
No open graph tags are showing either although I’ve got Twitter, etc set up in Yoast.
Latest version of Yoast SEO is installed.
The theme is a child theme of Headway (v3.4.2)
The site is https://www horizonyachtsgrenada .com (sorry for the spaces, I don’t want a working link to the site.
I don’t want to risk any drop in google ranking, so the quickest fix for this would be appreciated.
As always, thanks for your help in advance.
Cheers,
Tracy
