I read on the Beaver Builder forum about the compatability with the Yoast meta box:
    https://forum.wpbeaverbuilder.com/support/q/is-yoast-compatible-with-the-beaver-builder/
…the Yoast metabox is able to check pagecontent through the stripped down version of page builder layout which is copied over to the native WP Editor.

We mainly use the beaver themer now and noticed that the Yoast meta box doesn’t pick up the page content for analasys. This could be explained through the different workflow: when using themer layouts the page builder content is not stripped down and copied to the native WP editor.

Can we conclude that the Yoast metabox is useless on pages build with themer layouts?

The Yoast SEO for WordPress plugin is able to detect content from both the text and visual mode of your WordPress native editor. In addition, the plugin is also able to detect the content while using some page builder plugins. Currently, not all the page builder plugins and custom themes are supported, nor is the plugin fully able to detect and highlight the content in some cases while using the page builder. To get the best results, you’ll need to use the default WordPress content editor.

If you are adding your content to other plugins or theme content boxes, Yoast SEO for WordPress won’t be able to detect it by default. In the past, we have tried to parse shortcodes and other content boxes with horrible results so we opted to provide plugin and theme developers with an API that they can use to pass their content to our page analysis. It’s possible that the Yoast SEO plugin isn’t working with your custom page builder. You can read more about it here — https://kb.yoast.com/kb/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/

If you are using a plugin or theme that doesn’t send their content to our page analysis, please reach out to the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code. This KB article will help them with the implementation — https://kb.yoast.com/kb/can-i-add-data-to-the-page-analysis/

With that being said, while our plugin isn’t able to detect all your text blocks and shows an incorrect analysis report, this doesn’t mean that search engines won’t be able to parse them. Our content analysis is just to validate the content of your website and doesn’t affect how search engines crawl and index your site.

    Thanks for your reply,
I forwarded it today to the Beaver Builder team, mentioning your help-article on how to implement the functionality.

Meanwhile I’d like to ask you why Yoast doesn’t simply (also) analyse the frontend view of the posts with the metabox? That way you can ensure that Yoast is more accurate with his analysis, regardless of the pagebuilder tools are being used. The real SEO results are based on the frontend view after all.

Yoast SEO is only able to detect the content written in the WordPress default content editor and not from the front end part of the website as the front end part of the website includes many codes under the hood that will then need to process correctly which won’t be the ideal solution.
