Yoast News Plugin – Not showing up on google news

    I have submitted and registered my news website on Google News on the publisher center: https://news.google.com/publications/CAAqBwgKMO3I0wswu-TqAw?ceid=IN:en&oc=3
    However my news articles are getting picked up by Google news more than a day late and sometimes 2 to 3 days. In addition to this , If i search my exact article title on google news or even search my website name, it doesn’t display AT ALL. We post 300 articles per month and most go unnoticed. We have no known issues or violations on google.

    I have a wordpress website running Yoast and the Yoast News SEO plugin that generates the Compatible XML file https://asknigeria.com/news-sitemap.xml

    Can you help me diagnose what could be the problem?

    If you do not have an active premium subscription, you can either purchase a subscription or downgrade to the free version.

    Hello, as you may know, if you don’t have premium, you can not open a support request. Since I only use your news plugin and not premium, I cant access the page you are referring too. So closing my free support request is bad practice. Since I do pay you to use the news plugin, I should be entitled to live support, but your company does not feel the same. So we can proceed here I guess.

    Ok, you have closed this post and discontinued support, I will use a different news plugin going forward.
