• Help!
Ive just installed Yoast. I keep getting this warning under my SEO title:

Warning: Title display in Google is limited to a fixed width, yours is too long.

Its not too long! why is this happening?

I read a little about clicking the force rewrite titles box, but it doesn’t change anything.

so, I’ve don’t some research (being a newbie) and I figured out this doesn’t have anything to do with rewriting titles.

but I’m still getting this warning when my titles aren’t too long.

If I backspace what is automatically put in the title SEO and re-type it the warning disappears.

CAn someone please advise? Do I just need to backspace and re-write them all…will that be ok? or what am I missing?

Please help, I just want my SEO to be good!

Same here. I have no idea why.

I’m also having a problem with the system thinking that the photo alt tags are missing when in reality they are there.

There are a few other funky issue too.

    It bums me out

I’m having the same problem and I’m a PRO USER.

    +1 Bump … same issue.

+1 Bump. My installation is doing this too.
Is there a fix yet? its been several months..

Mine never did this before, but suddenly it’s now doing it.

    I’m using version 1.7.3

+1 Bumb. I’ve been getting the same warning for a few months and now realize that the Yoast SEO is getting in the way of my theme’s interaction with woocommerce. There doesn’t seem to be any answers online and Yoast doesn’t provide support for free plugins.

Try asking on the forum for that plugin – not likely to be seen in this location – generic plugins –

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wordpress-seo#postform

And posting in an outdated thread isn’t usually the best way to go either.
