Yoast often mentions that a section on a page or blog has too many words and needs sub-headings to break the text up for SEO

I have tried looking for a Plugin that I can highlight a group of text, to see how many words it contains.

    Is there such a solution?

Happy New Year to all, stay safe,

  • The Gutenberg editor lets you check how many words a block has. Just click on the “i” (information) icon, and it will tell you the block details.

Thank you very much for a quick reply and the answer. This will solve many problems.

Is there a way to word count just 1 block?

Do you use the Blocks a lot? Is there a way to set the space block setting, which is always set at 100 to my preferred of 30. Get a bit fed up having it change it in a long document.

    Have a safe New Year.
