    Hi there,
I’m having problems with Yoast regarding the schema for video. It is a recipe’s website that have videos for each step, but the ld+json data inside the Yoast schema graph just get one of them, the first one, independently of the video I put there. Actually, this behaviour is independently of the recipe plugin, because if I put a video outside the recipe instructions within the same post, that’s the video Yoast schema graph shows inside if it is the first that appears in the DOM.

Is this behaviour normal? Should I buy the Video SEO plugin in order that Yoast gets more than one video inside the Yoast schema graph?

    Thanks in advance!

Well, I understand the forum guidelines, but I do not think the answer break those guidelines. Let me change the question making it simpler and more direct.

Does the Yoast schema graph gets only one video because Yoast SEO in its free version only gets one video by post in the schema independently of the amount of videos inside the post?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @luismoyano,

Yoast SEO plugins do not detect multiple videos from a single page, nor it will add multiple schema markup for multiple videos for a single page. This is for the simple reason that Google only recognizes one video per page as well. You could make a separate page for every video if you want them all indexed separately.

    Hi Suwash,
Thank you for trying to help with my problem, but that’s not true!
Actually, I could send you several examples of other recipes blogs where Yoast Seo Graph shows several videos inside the markup, and then google get all of those videos in the Google Rich Results.

The only thing I wanted to find out it is… Whether those videos are added to the yoast schema by Yoast SEO or by the developers of the recipe plugin using the yoast schema.

But trust me, Google Rich Results is able to detect more than one video in the schema, and if it would be possible to attach images here, I could send you several screenshots to show it that I’m not lying to you, hehe…

So, question solved! If Yoast Seo is only able to detect one video, it’s clear that those extra videos added to the markup are added by the developers of the plugin, taking advantage os the Yoast SEO Graph Schema.

    Thank you for confirm it!
