    Hello,
YOAST SEO suddenly shows during the evaluation of the text

“0 words. This is too few” etc. even though there are more than 1,000 words in the post.
It should be mentioned that I had not changed the post for two years,
and SEO technically everything has been good so far (traffic lights on green).
Now I have changed the post this morning (block editor according to Gutenberg) and all AMpels are red, as well as the above mentioned statement of YOAST SEO “O WORDS).

    Why is that?
Is it because of the new editor and the blocks. Is there something not changed?

  • Hi @slyder300,

We assume that you’re receiving the message:

The text contains 0 words. This is far below the recommended minimum of 300 words. Add more content that is relevant for the topic.

These issues typically occur when the content is added by using a non-supported 3rd party page builder plugin. If you are using a plugin or theme that doesn’t send their content to our page analysis, please reach out to the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code. This KB article will help them with the implementation: Can I add data to the page analysis?

With that being said, while our plugin isn’t able to detect all your text blocks and shows an incorrect analysis report, this doesn’t mean that search engines won’t be able to parse them. Our content analysis is just to validate the content of your website and doesn’t really affect how search engines crawl and index your site.

Please let us know if you have further questions; we are happy to help.

Hello, how do I know which plugin is responsible for this?

    1) These are all my current PLUGINS:

    – Social Media and Share Icons (Ultimate Social Media)

    – SI Captcha Anti-Spam

    – Shortcodes Ultimate

    – photo gallery

    – WP Mail SMTP

    – WP Imprint

    – Yoast SEO Premium

    – Yoast SEO

    – No Gutenberg – Disable Block Editor – Back to Classic Editor

    – NextGEN Gallery

    – NewStatPress

    – Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights

    – Classic EDITOR

    – Akismet Anti-Spam

Some of them are not activated, but these are the only plugins that can be found under “INSTALLED PLUGINS”.

2.) Do I understand that YOAST SEO is not really necessary or REALLY helpful to get a better ranking on google? (Keyword analysis etc.)

    Hi @slyder300,

    Thanks for the reply.

While reviewing the list of your current plugins, it appears that you’re using default WordPress editor like Gutenberg or Classic editor for editing your content. Is that correct? Our Yoast SEO analysis should be able to detect the content written inside them without any problem. We’re sorry, due to some reason text count is not working for you.

Sometimes, such issue occurs when there’s a conflict with other plugins. I’d suggest you do a Conflict check to find any conflicting plugins or theme.

Further, it seems that you’ve purchased and installed the Yoast SEO Premium which means you can get free personal support. We would be happy to investigate your setup for these issues. Please contact our support team directly via email.

In regards to the ranking, the Yoast SEO plugin helps you to easily optimize the text of your posts and pages. But unfortunately, perfectly optimizing your post does not magically put it at the top of the search results. In this article, we’ve discussed five reasons that could impact the ranking.

Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reply back.
