Yoast SEO Conflci
-
Hi,
I am aware that there is a conflict with LMS and Yoast SEO.
The course description doubles up on the page, I have followed your instructions on how to resolve the issue with no luck.
Can you please provide a solution.
Here is a sample page of the problem: https://www.thestyleofmrsv.com/quiz/how-do-you-find-your-brand/

Anyone there!!
I’ve been working on trying to understand and recreate the issue you’re presenting. We used to have some issues with Yoast but they’ve since been resolved. I have a feeling the documentation you’re looking at is outdated. If it’s at lifterlms.readme.io please note the version number at the top of the page. We haven’t shut it down yet because I am a bit (very far) behind on moving and updating all our documentation over. I’m sorry about the confusion there.
Quizzes are only accessible to logged in users so if you’re having a quiz-related issue it’s likely something else, not yoast, possibly this: https://lifterlms.com/docs/i-cant-take-the-quiz-i-just-created/
Hope that helps and if it doesn’t please provide some additonal information (your system report would help)
Thanks,
I’m not sure you understand, did you go to the sample page above; https://www.thestyleofmrsv.com/quiz/how-do-you-find-your-brand/ to see how the content is duplicated?
I don’t know how much better I can explain. There is no issue with taking the quiz, it’s the description on the quiz that is duplicated when Yoast SEO is active, when I deactivate Yoast the duplicate descition is gone and all is ok.
The Issue is definately Yoast.

I can’t see the issue because quizzes don’t display to logged out users.
If you are a pro subscriber you can open a new support ticket via your account dashboard @ https://lifterlms.com/my-account and share some credentials so we can login and look at this first hand
Maybe a screenshot would work as well
Thanks,
I don’t have a a pro subscriber account as lifterlms came bundled with the theme Michigan that I am using. I have sent you my credentials via your contact form.
Here is a screen shot of;
Have you spoken with your theme developers about this? This appears, to me, to be a theme issue not a conflict with Yoast. Maybe they can point you in the correct direction since I’m fairly certain Michigan Learning Suite has made numerous customizations to LifterLMS templates and after reviewing some of them it appears that this issue may be theme related.
Can you check with them and see if they have any thoughts on the issue?
Thanks,
I have, why is it if I disable Yoast the problem goes away?
I really have no idea but you are working on an OUTDATED version of our plugin and I cannot recreate the issue so I’m having a really hard time figuring out how to resolve this issue.
Perhaps it’s a conflict with the theme and Yoast?
What did the theme developers say about the issue?
