    My website is experiencing problems when I upgrade Yoast SEO. The latest working version is 12.5.1.

    I am using WorldWide 1.01 wordpress theme from Goodlayers. And my website is hosted on WPEngine.

    I tried using the fix that was posted on the forum, but nothing really helped.
    Here are the 2 errors that appear when I update the plugin: https://prntscr.com/qleruu

    It breaks the SEO plugin and also the classic editor which I am using.

    None of the updates are fixing this error, nor the 2 workarounds I found on the forum.

    Our development team investigated this issue and determined that the Goodlayers theme is overwriting native JavaScript constructs; specifically this line:

    wp_localize_script( 'image-picker', 'URL', array('goodlayers' => GOODLAYERS_PATH ));

    By overwriting the URL, other plugins that depend on this variable will break. We are just one of those plugins.

    Please contact the author or support team for the Goodlayers theme for further assistance.
