Yoast SEO plugin is not working properly on my website. There is a problem with the WPML plugin and the site constantly gives critical error warnings. A WPML supporter said that it was giving these error logs and suggested that I consult a Yoast support. Can you help? Thanks

    Hi @ugur23

    Thanks for reaching out.

I understand that a fatal error is occurring on your site. Can you please do the following steps?

    1) Can you please confirm that all the Yoast & non-Yoast plugins and themes are updated to the latest version?

    2) Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

Hello, I followed all the steps you said and as a result, I saw that there is no big problem with Yoast SEO or the theme. The source of this situation may be due to the WPML Plugin. When I try to edit the Arabic homepage with Elementor, I receive a warning that a critical error has occurred on the site, and it only allows me to edit it when I deactivate the Yoast SEO plugin. Of course, I want to be Yoast SEO premium, but I still haven’t saved enough money for it, so I had to ask you. thanks

    Hi @ugur23

I understand that a critical error is occuring on your site when you edit the Arabic homepage with Elementor.

The server error logs usually provide more details about the issue. If you have access to your server error log, note the date and time before generating the error again. Then, immediately check your server error log for any errors during that period. If you don’t have access to your server error log, please ask your hosting provider to look for you.

If you or your web host cannot pinpoint the cause, please provide us with a copy of the server error log for further investigation. As server logs can cover a significant amount of time, please limit the error log to a few minutes before and after the behavior was reproduced.

If the server error log does not contain any errors at the time of the issue, please enable advanced WordPress debugging with the code here. This code requires that you change line 84 to point to a path on your server. Your web host can provide you with a secure path to save the error.log file.
