    Hi!

I post blogposts for a client of mine. And since recently, it will only give an orange smiley for the SEO analysis. It keeps saying the focus keyphrase is not mentioned in the title and since today it also says it’s not mentioned in the meta-description, when it clearly is.

All plugins are up to date and we use Divi as the theme builder.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

One update: it seems that all past blogposts now also have the SEO smiley colored orange, when they were green before.

my site show the same issue after last update of plugin to version 19.5.1!

    Hello Tyanagolsteijn,

We’re sorry to say that at the moment, Yoast SEO is not fully integrated with Divi. This means that sometimes, for example, Yoast SEO will say you don’t have something when you actually added it. This is because Yoast SEO cannot read and parse all the Divi modules, which is where the compatibility issue mostly lies.

In the past, we have tried to parse shortcodes and other content boxes with inferior results. Therefore, we opted to provide plugin and theme developers with an API that they can use to pass their content to our page analysis.

So, if when performing the Yoast readability analysis you realize that there are discrepancies, this would be purely a compatibility issue we do have a workaround for you, and these are the steps:
    1. Add your content with the Divi builder editor
    2. Save it as a draft and close the page/post
    3. Open the page/post using the default editor,
    4. Check for the plugin advice, adjust your text, save, and then switch again to your page builder.

In addition, we also have good news, which is that we are currently improving our compatibility with Divi. We don’t have an ETA though when it will be implemented, but it will improve in the future.

    Hi!

Thank you for acknowledging the issue and unfortunately the workaround doesn’t work for our issue with the title. This happens on every blogpost and even every blogpost that was published in the past, when it still worked properly and both smileys were green.

But hopefully the compatibility will get better soon.
