    Hi there,

My Yoast SEO functions is not active anymore when editing a post.
The box is still there with it’s tabs (SEO, Readibility, Social, Advanced), but they are not active and if I click on them to see a title or meta description for a particular page, nothing happens. I can neither see this information nor edit anything.

Can you please advise what’s happening? I have checked this on a few browsers hoping this may help, but it didn’t.

I am on the latest Yoast SEO version and am using wordpress 4.9.13.

There is no conflicts with other plugins either as I deactivated each individually to see if it makes a difference.

    Thanks for your help.

We do not recommend or support using outdated version of WordPress including plugins and themes for the reasons covered in this article. Please update WordPress core to 5.2 or higher.

Thrive released updates to a number of their products with a note that indicates they fixed a conflict with Yoast.

Please update to the current version of all Thrive products and let us know if the issue remains.

@amboutwe thank you for your reply. I don’t have any thrive plugins installed on my wordpress version. Do you recommend installing one now and this would solve the yoast seo issue?

Thrive is a theme so if you’re not using it, then you have a different issue. You’re using an old 4.9.x WordPress version that we do not support. Please update to a supported version, WordPress 5.2 or higher.
