Technical support for Yoast SEO plugin v11.0
The plugin started on 23-Apr-2019 adding loads of Twitter and Opengraph… somethings. I disabled the plugin on 25-Apr-2019.

“Twitter output added” and “Opengraph output added.” What is the output? Where is it added? How do I view it?

Why has it added the same two items over 3700 times in the last two days?

The URL above is an image that shows a page (of 373) of the added items.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The plugin adds additional metadata for both Twitter and Facebook if these are enabled under SEO>Social>Facebook and SEO>Social>Twitter. Did you recently enable the Open Graph/Twitter metadata output for your site?

As for how to view this metadata, you can view it by viewing the source code of your site’s pages/posts. We have more information on this here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/view-page-source-site/

Ah. I see what has happened.

The plugin “User Activity Log” adds an activity entry every time a page is visited, and Yoast SEO adds an OG or Twitter entry.

Hmm. Choices: Have the additional meta entries and 1000s of activity log entries. Or neither.

    Hi,

While we are unable to say which is better for your site we can only say that if you want to disable the metadata that Yoast is outputting you may do so. You can do this by going to SEO-Social and selecting Twitter and Facebook and then selecting Disable.
