Yoast SEO is in red

Yup, same here. Used Yoast for years so I know what I’m doing when it comes to pleasing the SEO analyzer. But Yoast is now flat out broken. I have inbound and outbound links for example, but Yoast says I do not.

Yoast have definitely messed something up in one of their recent updates.

@sahaysagar1 We understand that sometimes it’s tempting to attempt to get all green lights on the SEO analysis. However, these are general guidelines, not strict rules that will hurt your ranking.

No, something is WRONG with your plugin. It says “no outbound links”, “no inbound links”, “below 300 words” blah blah, but this is all wrong.

I have met all of those criteria and have over 1000 words. Your plugin is broken and needs to be fixed.

Just to verify, are you using a page builder? The Yoast SEO plugin analyzes the default WordPress content areas like the title, URL and the main content box (WordPress editor). If you are adding your content through other plugin or theme content boxes (as most page builders do), our plugin might not be able to detect it by default.

In the past, we have tried to parse shortcodes and other content boxes with inferior results. Therefore, we opted to provide plugin and theme developers with an API that they can use to pass their content to our page analysis.

If you are using a plugin or theme that doesn’t send their content to our page analysis, please reach out to the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code. This KB article will help them with the implementation —?Can I add data to the page analysis?

With that being said, while our plugin isn’t able to detect all your text blocks and shows an incorrect analysis report, this doesn’t mean that search engines won’t be able to parse them. Our content analysis is to validate the content of your website and doesn’t really affect how search engines crawl and index your site.

I am concerned because my website gets deindexed from Bing every now and then.So I put alt text for my home page image and so Yoast seo turned orange then the website got back on Bing then again after few days it turned red and my website got deindexed from Bing again.Now I have to forcefully put inbound and outbound link on home page.Yoast Seo is now orange and I hope it will work well on Bing now.
All these problems has nothing to do with Google.My website was and is working well in Google.

To see if we can help, can you give us a specific example URL of a page or image that’s not appearing in Bing? Can you explain a bit about that in more detail what changes or happens when you say it’s deindexed?

The Yoast SEO scores are not public or visible to search engines, so they only index and rank pages based on the changes you’re making to the content, so there’s no need to be concerned that this is due to Yoast SEO’s color warnings.

Since you mentioned that you’ve optimized your page and everything seems to be working correctly on Google, there may be an issue related to Bing crawling your site.

My homepage does not show on Bing,only 3 URLs show on Bing out of 35 urls.They all show on Google.I don’t know where the problem is?

We’re able to find some of your pages on Bing by searching for “alpha ragas”, so we’re a bit confused as well about the problem, too. If this was due to a technical issue related to Yoast SEO, we would expect that to affect Google too, since both search engines are using the same metadata from your site.

We recommend contacting the Bing Webmaster Support to explain the problem so that they can look into this further.
