YOAST SEO LINK PREVIEW SHOWS AUTHOR LINK

    Hi, im using your yoast seo free plugin on websites which i build. But there is a problem. When i link-post my web site link to discord(its kinda skype chat or teamspeak) at the preview there is the author link which is there must not be. Can u tell me how can i get rid of this ?

  • @yasindedo1, I see you are using Discord app, so called “a text chat App for gamers”. In that sense, it seems link preview with an author display is its native functionality (auto-generated) like some other social chat apps with similar functionality. Furthermore, to rule out this issue, disable the Yoast SEO plugin for a while and confirm whether it is really linked up with the Yoast SEO in action? If it didn’t affect that behavior, you may wish to consider checking the Discord control options or contact its Help Center.

    Sure i will disable it and try the all in one seo for a while. Cuz as u can see at this screenshot https://imgur.com/a/RFP2P an older wp site which uses an older yoast seo version is lookin well. Lets try and find out whats happening there.

    And here we sure about no, its not about yoast seo, https://imgur.com/a/9Z57a cuz there was no seo plugin ever. It’s all about wordpress and discord. I will try to take support from discord about it, but if its about wp ? What can i do for wp ?
