Yoast SEO has stopped parsing variables like %%title%%, %%page%%, %%sep%%, %%sitename%% in page and post titles on one of my sites – https://www.fallout4buzz.com.

It’s the only one of my WP sites exhibiting this behaviour. I deactivated all other plugins in case there was a plugin conflict, but the issue persists.

I tried changing theme as well, but the problem remained.

I then tried deactivating, deleting and reinstalling Yoast SEO. No change.

I finally installed and activated the Uninstall Yoast SEO plugin to remove all traces of Yoast SEO before installing and activating it again.

And still the variables are not being parsed.

Are you familiar with this problem and can you offer a solution?

Would appreciate an answer to my question…

Did you try disabling other plugins that conflict with it ?

Did you try switching to default theme to see if it’s a problem with the theme you’re using?

As I mentioned in my original question, yes I did try deactivating all other plugins and I tried different themes. Thanks for the link, but I did check that out before I posted. I don’t know if this is a bug or not and there’s nothing online about the issue.

Same issue. Works for categories, but not tags.

    Try
    a) optimize your dbase with wp-optimizer
    b) resave your permalinks

If it’s just one site, then there is something amiss with how the site is functioning which may have nothing to do with the plugin.

Not having this issue myself, so just some feedback.
