YOAST SEO Not working after new update

Everything is broken over here as well. I’ve reverted my installation.

For me 12.8 was there for editing main pages but totally gone in the editing section for other areas – existing and creating new

Checking my other websites – 12.8 missing from editing and creating new WooCommerce products.

Turning off all other plugins made no difference

Changed theme from a child 2017 to 2020 – no difference
another using shop-front failed

Changed php 7.3 to php 7 – no difference

Yoast is not broken, they just jumped ahead a little too fast.

Access to custom pages/posts now need to be turned on – details in link provided.

I tried it and it works.

I’m sure they will release an update to avoid the turning on of access, but I don’t see an issue if you do it manually now.

This workaround doesn’t work for us as we can’t access the SEO -> Search Appearance page as it’s blank when we go into it.

I recommend a Rollback to 12.7.1 that helps with my problme (media Libary broken by Yoast), still with 12.8.1 not fixed…

2. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.3.2? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. 3. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

Some websites (core php sites) with few words on the post, they are getting result on top 5. We have 450 words content not yet showing even first 10 result. Yoast now focusing on pro customers.
