Yoast Seo not working for home page in search results

  • Hi, I’ve made a custom snippet for the home page of my website in yoast seo but when searched for in google the snippet for the home page is different? Is it a matter of waiting for it to change or would the fact that I changed from running the all in one seo plugin then moving to yoast seo have had an effect?

    Hi,

    Changes are only reflected on Google when they’ve re-indexed your site and it’s been processed on their side, there’s no known time frame for when this happens, so if you’ve added the front-page descriptions it’s just a matter of waiting I’m afraid.
