I manage two websites. Both run the same theme. Both have the free tier of Yoast SEO Version 20.11. However, one site only shows the “Workouts” and “Redirects” tab. I’ve attempted to delete and re-add the plugin, but it did not fix the issue.

I’m trying to reach the “Tools” page so that I can restart my SEO Data Optimization, as the Schema URL is showing as the development domain.

The Schema tab also doesn’t appear on the individual pages even though it auto-adds to the front end.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @josephkleier,

    Thank you for reaching out.

If you temporarily deactivate Yoast SEO and then reactivate the plugin, do the menu items reappear after? I ask this as a first step, as we set our capabilities on plugin activation.

Do let us know how that goes.

    Hey @jeroenrotty,

I deactivated and then reactivated when I deleted the plugin entirely before submitting this request. Doing so did not take me to the first step screen. However, your response prompted me to deactivate and reactivate (this time without deleting the plugin) so I tried that method. Doing so, upon activation, the plugin took me to a “Sorry, You Are Not Allowed to Access This Page,” This led me to another plugin I didn’t consider as it wasn’t appearing in the plugins list (Whitelabel mode). After browsing through Admin User Privileges, I found many areas that I needed to allow myself access to.

All is working as expected due to those access changes. Thank you for your response and not skipping support steps!

    Warm regards,

    Joseph

Great to hear, thank you for letting us know.
