Yoast SEO overriding post content
-
Hi everyone,
I’m actually working on this website: https://www.mytourtrieste.it
The theme I’m using is self coded and everything was working fine until I installed Yoast SEO plugin.The issue is that, since the plugin was installed, the wordpress function
the_content();
is not working properly.
Specifically, it seems to take always the content of the page set as “Home Page“.
I’m actually using the CoBlocks plugin and my Home Page has a Shape Divider block (coming from the CoBlocks plugin) as the only content inserted using the wordpress editor. Every other content of the home page is coming from custom code.
When Yoast SEO was not installed on my website, the “Esperienze” section of the page was correctly showing the content of the posts.
Since Yoast was installed, it’s always showing this shape divider taken from the content of the page set as Home Page. Also, every other call of thethe_content();
function seems to display the content of the home page.I’ve already tryed to disable one by one every plug-in on the website and the issue is clearly coming from Yoast. Once it get disabled, everything works fine.
The fact is that I’ve always used Yoast for its sitemap function and its breadcrumb functionality, I’d like to mantain it and find out what is causing the issue.
I apologize for any mistake made writing in English.
