Yoast SEO panel not in posts

    Hi forum,

    Does anyone know why Yoast SEO panel are not shown in posts, but only in pages? As far as I know you should be able to make settings in posts as well (?). Any toogles etc I could have missed?

    Hi @gasjuice

    When you say Yoast Panel, are you referring to Yoast SEO sidebar or the Yoast SEO metabox that is available in the post editor? Are you facing the metabox not loading?

    Please provide us with screenshots that highlight the issue you are experiencing. This will help us understand the issue better. You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

    This thread was marked resolved due to a lack of recent activity. The original poster can change the status to Not Resolved to re-open the issue or open a new topic.

    The Yoast box area at the bottom of posts and pages is gone. I’ve never seen this before: https://pasteboard.co/nrhkjgUoID8z.jpg

    When I click on the different tabs, nothing beneath it shows. No place to put title or description. The section area is expanded. Noticed this for past two days. Plugin version is 23.3?

    Hi @611shabnam,

    I don’t know the difference between Yoast SEO Sidebar and Yoast SEO Metabox (?), but I guess it’s the metabox – the settings below a post. It is missing in the bottom of the post editor (see picture 1: https://pasteboard.co/sOBUA7gIiRl9.png), but it is present in page editor (see picture 2 : https://pasteboard.co/UoBoYKyF2yYj.png). I need it in the posts as well!

    Hi @gasjuice

    Please enable the Yoast SEO metabox from screen option above. Kindly head to WordPress dashboard and edit post, from the top right corner, check for the term “Screen Options”. Click on it and see if you can expand it.

    If you see Yoast SEO checkbox is empty, kindly click on it to add checkmark on it. Kindly check the screenshot.

    Hi @611shabnam

    Thank you for your advice. However, Yoast SEO are not available in post in the screen options. So, that isn’t the issue.

    I have other wordpress installation with Yoast SEO, and on these websites it isn’t an issue. Yoast SEO is present under posts.

    However, in this installation (multimedia.bonafidegroup.dk) it isn’t present. Are there other settings I can have missed?

    Hello Claus,

    Kindly navigate to WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Content Types > Posts > Additional Settings and ensure the Enable SEO controls and assessments button is toggled ON
