Yoast SEO Plug-in Bug

I like Yoast SEO plugin, and I am confident the team did super work at developing the software. But, there is a problem I’m experiencing with it right now.

I’ll get green lights all the way up the latter to the very top of the content analysis meter. Right to this point … “The focus keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph of the copy. Make sure the topic is clear immediately.”

It does not work at all.

This is happening to all the pages on my site. And it doesn’t matter where I embed the keyword [just as instructed] and the light yet remains red. I’ve done everything possible I know that would perhaps get the red light gone.

Now, that brings me to a different conclusion though I still like the plug-in.

Does anyone have an idea on how I can approach this issue? I am open to any rational conclusion.
