Yoast SEO replacing title on post

I’m sorry for the delay in getting a response from us. You mentioned that the SEO title overrides the post title, but I’m not sure where this occurs. Please provide us with screenshots that highlight the issue you are experiencing. Good afternoon,

We are implementing Yoast SEO and have an issue with the Yoast SEO Title appearing to override the Post titles.  This can be seen in post preview, which is not expected, nor desired. We need to control this output.

The Theme’s tech support feels that the issue lies with Yoast. I also find that the issue prevails with Yoast, as the only active plugin.

• <Title> tag appears one time.
• Our site is not yet live.
• Yoast vers 20.4 non premium.
• WP vers 6.2

Please advise.

The issue still persists , with no obvious solution. We are hesitant to go “premium” given what we view as a defect. Please advise asap.
