    Yoast has stopped working no 2 different sites I manage. On one, SEO settings wouldn’t open anymore at all. Once i deleted classic editor they reappeared, but won’t save any data – and all old seo settings (titles, meta description) have disappeared. Issue persists with changing theme to 2020, disabling plugins, etc… Console error shows: TypeError: /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/wp-seo-analysis-worker-1270.min.js is not a valid URL.

    Disabling classic editor helped it at least show the fields, but still spinning yellow circles, and nothing i enter saves, and all previous settings are gone.

    Site built with beaver builder.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    No solution, and no response yet.

    Hmm i did rollback back to 12.7 and now it is fine. Maybe you should try some older versions too, at least for now.

    How do we “rollback”?

    First delete current version, and then you need download and install older version.

    We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!

    Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

    Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

    Did you not read my original post? Already disabled all plugins & switched to 2020. Nothing changed except disabling classic editor allowed the fields to be visible, but still wouldn’t save any data, and all prior data was gone, and spinning yellow circles. I have temp fixed by reinstalling an older version of yoast.

    @sarahjul

    We understand you performed a conflict check and the issue is still happening.

    If you did this when everything was updated (non-yoast and Yoast plugins; Yoast is at v12.7.1) and it still happened then based on the information you provided, we expect this to be a bug.

    We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new issue for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new. You will need an account to create a new issue. If this is your first bug report, please check out: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/.
