    Hi,

I utilized the Site basic settings in Yoast SEO to configure the title separator. However, it doesn’t display the chosen separator; instead, it shows a dot. Could you please explain how to configure it so that the chosen separator will be displayed?

    Hello @yuliiam23

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I tested this in Yoast SEO 22.8 and WordPress 6.5.3 and couldn’t replicate it. The separate I chose shows in the posts. Can you confirm you’re on the latest versions of WordPress and Yoast SEO? Do you have more information you could provide to help replicate this?

    Hi Maybellyne

Yes, I am on the latest versions of WordPress and Yoast SEO. When I choose the title separator, for example, a horizontal dash, it still shows a dot. Could you provide me with information or a screenshot showing where to check the changes?

I’m unsure what changes you are referring to but please try the following:

    1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.

Please let us know if the reported issue remains after resetting the optimized data.
