• I got everything humming like a bird but I noticed one issue:

My Yoast SEO sitemaps are no longer available. The page is blank. When I searched it out in Explorer they are listed but the links for each one are also blank.

I tried deactivating the SEO integration under “extensions” and clearing my cache (browser and plugin) to no avail.

I’m positive that when I set this up the other day, there was a line for me to enter the URL for my main sitemap, which I put in but now it seems to have disappeared.

These need to be accessible as I am currently updating Webmaster Tools for changes on my site and the existing sitemaps have errors.

Am I missing something or is there an option I should turn off to make them publicly accessible again?

  • Gee thanks for the support. Really makes me what to drop $99 annually on the plugin. I’ll reach out to Yoast since I do spend the money on theirs.

Go to your minify settings and add the following to the never minify the following pages.

    sitemap(_index)?\.xml(\.gz)?
    ([a-z0-9_\-]+)?sitemap\.xsl
    [a-z0-9_\-]+-sitemap([0-9]+)?\.xml(\.gz)?
