    Hello support team.

    Hope you all are healthy.

My problem is that I am having issues updating the SEO title of a particular page on the Astra theme website. I have updated the Yoast Snippet preview with what I want the SEO title and browser tab title to be here.

However, it does not update the browser tab title as it still shows this. When I disable the Yoast SEO plugin and refresh the page, the tab title changes to what I want it to be like here.

Looking at the page source I can see that the page title is set to this. And I’ve searched this forum for an answer, but could not find anything.

How do I go about resolving this?

    Thanks ??

@z1an We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

If you clear your cache (server, plugin/theme, browser, or CDN such as Cloudflare) does this resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear your server cache you should speak with your host provider. We have information on how to clear your browser cache at the following link: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I have cleared the website cache using WP Super Cache. I have cleared my browser cache. And I have also cleared the cache from my host SiteGround using their plugin SG Optimizer to no avail.

Is there anything else that you can recommend?

    Hello @z1an!

It appears that your Yoast SEO plugin isn’t updated. Can you please update Yoast SEO first? The latest version is 16.0.1. Once you’ve done that, please clear your cache again from your caching plugins, server, CDN like Cloudflare, and your browser.

    Let us know the result.

    @onlyincebu Thanks for the recommendation.

However, I’m afraid that updating the plugin Yoast SEO, clearing browser/website cache, and the host cache did not change the SEO title.

Still, deactivating the plugin is the only solution.

Thank you both for the suggestions. I have managed to find the solution.

Going into Search Appearance – scrolling down to Articles – Under “Settings for Articles archive” – cleared the entry for SEO title and re-entered.

    That solved the issue.

    Cheers.
