[Yoast SEO] unwanted leading laquo separator

Here is what I have in the header.php file for the title:
<title><?php wp_title(‘|’,true,’right’); ?><?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?></title>

Here is what I put in the Yoast title template for the Homepage
%%title%%

Force rewrite titles is unchecked.

In my theme’s general setup I have Myanmar Business to Business Directory in the site title field.

Can someone tell me why the laquo separator is appearing in front of my site’s title in search results, and how I can get rid it? I have read many posts here and in various blogs and thought I had done the necessary.
