• Yoast SEO is available as a FREE and PAID plugin to assist WordPress sites with having their salient features documented by search engines. Tech Support is always available if a problem develops, so this is an invaluable plugin for any WordPress site.

However, the site information provided by Yoast SEO is not universally accepted by every search engine, so it is incompatible with some search engines. Yoast SEO should support as many search engines as possible in the world. It does not currently support Baidu, so Baidu should be added as quickly as possible since China is dependent upon this one search engine. Yandex is dying as Russia contemplates disconnecting from the Internet to prevent citizens from receiving news outside of Russia, or relaying news about events in Russia that the government does not want discussed. Bing shares non-Chinese information with Baidu, but does not share Chinese information. That is exclusively up to Baidu, which is why I have Chinese pages on my website.

I would have thought that a standard would have been developed for sharing SEO information with search engines, so perhaps it is time to propose an industry standard for all search engines to use a standard format to maximize their ability to catalog information on the Internet. Can Yoast propose a standard and have it negotiated and adopted by search engines across the world over the next 3-years? This would be beneficial to everyone, and great publicity for Yoast.
